ProfileGuillaume is Deputy Country Managing Director, Senior Legal Adviser, Head of the Real Estate Practice Group of the Cambodia Office and Deputy Head of the Regional Real Estate Practice Group. He holds Master Degrees of Law and Political Science (University of Lille, France). His practice covers Property, Corporate and Commercial, Criminal Law and Procedures and technical assistance consultancies. Guillaume is currently team leader on a number of recent and ongoing major real estate-related and agriculture projects in Cambodia. He has notably played an intricate role on landmark deals advising international investment groups on land use rights and construction permits, assisting banks and private equity funds for the structuring of property projects, supervising the acquisition and structuring of hotel and resort projects, including negotiations with the Royal Government of Cambodia for the lease of state land to investors and working on land development projects for factories in Special Economic Zones. Guillaume also advises numerous international and local investors in the retail and construction sectors. In connection with the development of agriculture related projects, Guillaume has advised investors on over 30 agri-business and environment related projects in the past two years, representing more than 500,000 hectares of land for development, and has extensive practice in projects involving the issuance of economic land concessions, on-shore and off-shore structuring of management entities, licensing of plantation projects, assignment of concessions, joint ventures, due diligences and environmental impact assessments.
