WSG 2017 Meeting of the Americas
The WSG 2017 Meeting of the Americas was held in Dallas, Texas and hosted by Haynes and Boone, LLP Dallas, Estudio Beccar Varela, Argentina, Moss Adams LLP, Accounting - Dallas and SMS - San Martin, Suarez y Asociados Accounting - Argentina, The hosts welcomed 75 professionals from 39 jurisdictions and offered several opportunities for networking. The program featured guest speakers, case studies, and representative panels on topics of interest across the region.

There was another great turnout at the annual WSG Labour Law Seminar put on by the WSG labour and employment practice group. This year the seminar was hosted by Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners. and welcomed over 36 participants from 23 jurisdictions. The event offered a great opportunity for networking with special tour and welcome dinner on as well as an engaging meeting program the following day.

The WSG TMT practice group host a well anticipated Data Protection Seminar annually. This year was no different with host DORDA welcoming over 21 participants from 14 jurisdictions. The participants continued to develop relationships and opportunities through networking opportunities and were also treated to an impressive program.

WSG 2017 Asia Pacific Regional Meeting
In conjunction with the IPBA Annual Conference, MinterEllisonRuddWatts hosted the WSG 2017 Asia Pacific Regional Meeting in Auckland, New Zealand. The event began with a welcome reception Wednesday evening, followed by a half day meeting program on Thursday. The program featured exceptional guest speakers and offered valuable networking opportunities among WSG members. This year's attendance boasts over 60% travelling specifically to attend the WSG Asia Regional Meeting only clearly representing a growing interest in integration throughout the region and globally.
