SyCipLaw’s Doing Business in the Philippines: A General Guide

In commemoration of the firm’s 70th anniversary, SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan (SyCipLaw) produced a publication about the general guidelines in doing business in the Philippines. It aims to showcase the Philippines as an attractive venue for business ventures and to also guide the businessmen and lawyers alike in their business decision making.

The publication contains important factors to consider when setting up a subsidiary or branch office, the pre-registration to post registration requirements and the different processes involved, brief description of the taxes and labor related matters that need to be considered and followed. SyCipLaw partners Hiyasmin H. Lapitan and Maria Jennifer Z. Barreto, with associates Vera Marie H. Bautistaand Kristine Camille Y. Umali, developed the content.
