Haynes and Boone Expands IP Talent with Arrival of Dennis Gallagher

Haynes and Boone, LLP has bolstered its intellectual property talent with the arrival of Dennis Gallagher as counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property Transactional Practice Group.
Gallagher brings more than 17 years of patent and technology experience and will focus his practice on patent portfolio management and patent prosecution, as well as aspects of patent litigation, licensing and monetization.

Gallagher joins Haynes and Boone’s Orange County office from Conexant Systems, Inc., where he served as vice president, legal and general counsel since 2011. In that role, Gallagher oversaw all company legal matters including intellectual property, litigation, commercial contracts, labor and employment and corporate governance. Prior to serving as general counsel, Gallagher was Conexant’s IP Counsel responsible for managing the company’s patent portfolio, intellectual property litigation and all IP issues in the company’s M&A transactions. He started his legal career in large law firms representing some of the top technology companies in the world in matters ranging from patent prosecution, intellectual property litigation and technology licensing.
