SyCipLaw Participates in DPA Seminar

SyCipLaw lawyers conducted a day-long seminar on the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing rules last January 6 at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel.
The seminar was organized by the Center for Global Best Practices and was attended by legal counsel, IT officers and other representatives of organizations from different industries. The seminar focused on practical guidelines for compliance. SyCipLaw speakers were partners Rose Marie M. King-Dominguez and Franco Aristotle G. Larcina, and senior associate John Paul V. de Leon. Deputy Commissioner of the National Privacy Commission, Ivy Patdu, joined the speakers for the open forum.
