Beccar Varela and PAGBAM in Banco Ciudad issue.

 

Buenos Aires, August 15th, 2017. Beccar Varela advised Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires on a notes issuance worth AR$2.3 billion (approx. US$130 million), issued in two notes classes under the entity’s Global Program for short, medium and long term notes with a maximum global nominal value of up to US$500 million (or its equivalent in other currencies). In this transaction, Banco Ciudad acted as issuer, organizer and placement agent. Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina), Macro Securities and Puente Hnos acted as placement agents and turned to Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites, Arntsen & Martínez de Hoz (h). The result of the placement was published on August 9th, 2017.

Banco Ciudad issued Class XIII notes for a nominal value of AR$530,631,578, at a floating rate, with maturity date of 24 months from its issuance date; and Class XIV notes for a nominal value of AR$1,737,740,000, at a floating rate, with maturity date of 48 months from its issuance date.

This transaction represents the sixth issuance of Banco Ciudad under the forementioned Program. Both Beccar Varela and Pérez Alati have been taking part in previous issuances by the entity.

The listing and negotiation of the notes have been requested with the Buenos Aires Stock Market and Mercado Abierto Electrónico SA.
