Odewald KMU II acquires a stake in heizkurier GmbH with Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek

With a team led by Dr. Pär Johansson from its Cologne office, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised investment company Odewald KMU on taking out a majority stake in heizkurier GmbH. The managing shareholders of heizkurier will keep significant stakes in the company. The partnership will enable heizkurier to continue to expand in Germany and to open up markets in other European countries.

Wachtberg-based heizkurier GmbH rents and sells mobile heating systems to companies in Germany, with a focus on renting. Founded in 2007, the company employs some 40 people. Its customers are mainly from the sanitary/heating, construction, energy, real estate, and event management sectors.

At a volume of EUR 200 million, the Odewald KMU II fund invests in fast-growing medium-sized companies, focusing on “German engineering,” intelligent service, and healthcare. Most recently, Odewald KMU II acquired a stake in Langer & Laumann Ingenieurbüro GmbH with the support of Pär Johansson's team in January 2018.
