Dr Tracy Cohen is an executive in the TMT practice and head of ENSafrica’s business development team, where she is responsible for driving the firm’s client relationship strategy.

Tracy has significant experience as a telecommunications, media and broadcasting law expert, having advised various telecommunications companies and entities on large transactions, their regulatory, licensing policy and compliance matters. Tracy has worked as a former regulator, in-house counsel and as an independent advisor and consultant.

She was a councillor at the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa and held two consecutive terms as non-executive chairperson of the National Nuclear Regulator. She has also served on a number of advisory boards in the ICT sector.

Tracy has previously also held teaching posts at the University of the Witwatersrand, and research positions at Columbia University, the University of Toronto and the London School of Economics.
