Cameron works with local and international clients on a broad range of strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), takeovers, joint ventures, restructurings, capital raising, IPO's and corporate governance.

Cameron regularly advises leading private and listed companies, financial institutions and private equity firms. He has extensive experience in the New Zealand market, as well as in New York and London. He spent seven and a half years with premier US law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and worked for Credit Suisse. With an extensive international and domestic profile, Cameron is regularly invited to speak at international conferences on M&A and corporate finance.

Cameron is an Officer of the International Bar Association and also sits on the board of legal technology and AI innovator McCarthyFinch. McCarthyFinch is advancing machine learning to help industry leaders reimagine their businesses and seize new opportunities - its artificial intelligence engine Author has been purpose built to correlate the unstructured language of law, giving lawyers exponential virtualised problem-solving capabilities.

Prior to his legal career, Cameron was an international athlete and competed at the Olympic Games, World Track & Field Championships, NCAA Championships and World Junior Championships. Cameron is Chair of the board of Athletics New Zealand.

He holds an MBA in Finance from London Business School, an LLB (Hons) from the University of Auckland Law School, and a BA in Economics and BBA in Finance from SMU in Dallas, Texas.
