Profile

Kory Ann Ferro is an attorney in the Litigation practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP, specializing in complex commercial litigation.  With a concentration on litigation arising out of business protection needs, Ms. Ferro brings extensive experience representing individual and corporate clients in safeguarding their interests.  Her practice includes representation in state court, federal court, and arbitration and spans various jurisdictions, including New Jersey, New York, California, Florida, and North Carolina, where she has successfully represented clients via pro hac vice admission, where necessary, and collaborated with local counsel.  Ms. Ferro also aids clients in negotiating matters both before and after litigation ensues with an aim toward meeting client goals effectively and efficiently.

Ms. Ferro's expertise focuses on restrictive covenants litigation involving non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidential information provisions, as well as handling claims involving unfair competition, unfair business practices, tortious interference, and protection of confidential business information and trade secrets.  Ms. Ferro also assists clients in protecting their interests by handling contract breaches and engaging in class action and employment law defense.

Ms. Ferro’s background in family law brings a unique empathetic approach to her practice, ensuring that her representation is both zealous and practical. Ms. Ferro is skilled in all aspects of litigation, from pre-litigation negotiation to motion practice to trial advocacy.

Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder LLP, Ms. Ferro served as counsel and an associate at two premier litigation firms, where she honed her skills in commercial litigation, foreclosure, collections, and family law. She began her legal career with a clerkship under the Honorable Judge Margaret M. Hayden in the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

Ms. Ferro graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University School of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She received numerous accolades, including the Justice Henry Ackerson Jr. Prize for the greatest distinction in legal skills and the Anthony Englebrecht Prize for the highest-grade point average during her final year of law school.
