Chris has more than 15 years experience assisting clients with the resolution of complex commercial disputes and regulatory issues across Australia and throughout Asia and the South Pacific. He acts for clients across of range of industries including the maritime, logistics, tourism, agribusiness and energy and resources sectors.

Chris's commercial dispute resolution experience includes managing and coordinating multi-jurisdictional proceedings and the utilisation and resistance of urgent and complex forms of injunctive relief. He has represented clients in all of the major commercial jurisdictions in Australia, the Federal Court's Admiralty jurisdiction, and domestic and international arbitration tribunals (including ACICA, ICC, LMAA, SIAC and tribunals constituted pursuant to various trade association rules).

Chris also frequently assists clients with prosecutions, regulatory investigations, risk management and compliance concerning foreign and domestic maritime regulations, foreign bribery, sanctions, import/export controls and anti-money laundering.
