Profile

Damien Magrou is the Head of the Nordic and French Desks at Asters, as well as the first point of contact for the firm's representative office in Brussels.

Damien is Norwegian with French roots. He has obtained his qualification under Norwegian law at the University of Bergen. He offers services tailored to corporate clients from the Nordic region and French-speaking countries in their own language. He also assists private clients and investors from these regions with their legal matters in Ukraine.

Damien has experience gained from law firms located in the Nordic countries and the CIS. At Asters, he is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and M&A and Competition & Antitrust practice groups. He supports cross-border M&As, international contracts and transactions, and advises on public procurement and state aid issues. Having extensive experience in navigating the EU jungle, he also consults on EU law issues applicable to the Ukrainian context.

Damien also contributes to business development and client management and helps to coordinate relationships between Asters and law firms in other jurisdictions, particularly in Nordic and French-speaking countries.
