Profile

Eric White is a Member of Dykema’s Dallas office. Eric counsels clients on transactional business law matters involving mergers and acquisitions, lending, private equity investments, leveraged buy-outs and subordinated debt investments. Mr. White has represented numerous financial institutions in connection with asset-based lending, leveraged buy-outs, leveraged recapitalizations, subordinated debt investments, equipment and project financings and the restructurings and workouts of the above-mentioned transactions. Additionally, Mr. White has extensive experience with deals utilizing private equity and junior debt in the capital stack. Mr. White has efficiently and swiftly completed deals with respect to the acquisition, maturation and disposition of company platforms in the health care, energy and manufacturing industries. In connection with certain of these deals, Eric had to resolve thorny intercreditor and subordination issues.

Mr. White also advises clients in general corporate matters related to formation, private financings, restructuring, equity-holder distributions and regulatory compliance. He has successfully guided clients as diverse as an avionic equipment manufacturer, a hydraulic systems manufacturer, an exterior packaging distributor and an operator of an adult assisted-living facility. Before joining the firm, Mr. White served as assistant general counsel at the Public Utility Commission of Texas with respect to the electric and telecommunications industries.
