Profile

Hang advises on patent prosecution for the electrical and computer science arts. She counsels businesses and individuals on patentability, invalidity, and noninfringement issues. Her client roster includes leading companies in the technology sector involved in image processing, cloud computing, software, online video products, mobile applications, and business methods.

Hang works closely with clients to frame their inventions in a global context and to understand how their innovations relate to the next generation of products. By building lasting, global relationships, Hang helps clients protect, manage, and leverage their critical IP in myriad markets and time zones.

Her international patent experience is extensive. As Associate Director of Patents at Metis IP, an intellectual property-focused consulting firm in China, Hang drafted patent applications, managed patent portfolios, performed due diligence, and provided general counseling to Chinese companies.
