Jerome’s practice is focused on M&A and corporate reorganisations. He has an in-depth knowledge in cross-border mergers and reorganisations.

Jerome advises Belgian and international groups about their acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations and other corporate issues. He also assists clients in corporate litigation and in banking and finance matters.

Over the years, Jerome has been assisting clients from various industries, including technology and telecoms, insurance, real estate, and logistics.

Together with Ivo Vande Velde, Jerome is the editor of 'European Cross-Border Mergers and Reorganizations', a comprehensive (984 pages) Oxford University Press practical guide covering the corporate, tax and employment aspects of cross-border mergers and other reorganisations in Europe in a country-by-country format. It first discusses the EU and EEA legal framework and case law and thereafter examines the rules applicable at the level of 13 major EU countries (UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Czech Republic and Hungary). It deals with cross-border mergers and other types of cross-border reorganisations within Europe such as demergers, transfers of branches of activities and transfers of the head office and/or the registered office of companies across borders.
