  • Counsels on compliance with Medicaid and Medicare programs, including credentialing, audits, compliance program objectives, and CMS marketing guidelines

  • Advises on compliance with federal and state Anti-Kickback and False Claims Act statutes and regulations


Health Care Technology and Telemedicine Experience


  • Significant in-house counsel experience at a health care technology start-up and pharmacy

  • Automation and technology implementation, including remote dispensing and telepharmacy, regulating use of robots, multi-dose dispensing, and compliance packaging

  • Counsels app developers and others about health care regulatory requirements, partnership development, and data privacy and security, including HIPAA and other laws regulating their data

  • Advises clients around credentialing and licensure requirements when entering into tele-dietician and telemedicine arrangements

  • Drafts and negotiates agreements relating to telehealth provider arrangements and partnerships


Health Care Transactions Experience


  • Drafts and negotiates agreements relating to the purchase of, sale of, or investment in health care entities or lines of business

  • Due diligence for transactions involving the sale, purchase, or investment in regulated health care businesses
