Miguel Ángel founded Moore Stephens Orozco Medina, S.C. in 1976, and has been its Managing Partner ever since. As such, he is in charge of leading and coordinating the strategic planning functions of the Firm. With a focus on the global course of events, his leadership has been essential to our success. He is responsible for international liaisons with the business world, promoting growth policies and creating the future of the Firm.

As a leader in the accounting profession he is actively involved with the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP) and the Mexico City College of Public Accountants (CCPM). He is a member of several committees of such institutions, mainly the Independent Financial Support Committees, where he has served as Chairman.

He attended the D1 IPADE Executive Program and has also participated as instructor in top training courses and as speaker at several national and international forums, such as the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP), the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF), which is affiliated to the International Association of Financial Executives (IAFEI), as well as with Moore Stephens International Conventions, World Services Group Congresses and other institutions of higher learning that enhance his presence in the Firm. He is an active member of Rotary International and has been President of his Club.

Professional Career


Member since 1972 of the Mexican Financial Executives Institute (IMEF), in direct affiliation to IAFEI.
Member of the Pan-American Institute for Senior Direction Management (IPADE) Alumni Association since 1976.
Member of the Supporting Commission for Independent Professional Practices from the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP), where he was also Chairman (1991 to 2003).
Member of the Supporting Association for Independent Practices from the Mexico City College of Public Accountants (CCPM) from which he was founder and chairman (from 1994 to the present).
He has been a member of the Tacubaya Rotary Club, A.C. (President 2000-2001) from 1982 to the present.

Professional Activities and Experience

Mr. Orozco worked at PriceWaterHouseCoopers for over eight years starting as a Junior Auditor and advancing to Top Senior Auditor
Miguel was the Chief Financial Officer at Clevite Engine Parts, an auto parts company, for over four years
Mr. Orozco has coordinated and acted as spokesman in several different forums such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Moore Stephens International, IMCP, CCPM, Rotary Club, IMEF, etc.
Since 1976, Miguel has managed and developed his own firm Moore Stephens Orozco Medina, S.C.
