Richard leads MinterEllison's native title practice and works with clients across the resources, infrastructure, utilities, property development and government sectors in relation to native title and Aboriginal cultural heritage matters. He negotiates native title and cultural heritage agreements, and assists clients to develop and implement strategies for engaging and developing sustainable long term relationships with traditional owner groups and their representatives.

Richard has also worked in regulatory, consulting and legal roles with Energex, PWC and the Queensland Electricity Reform Unit. As a result of this experience, Richard knows how to contribute as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and understands what is required to deliver value and results on complex projects.
