LEX Law Offices

Sigurður joined LEX in 2017 after graduating with a master’s degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Iceland. Previously, he had earned a bachelor’s degree at the same faculty in 2015. Sigurður was admitted to practice before the district court in December 2017
During his studies, Sigurður worked at Landsbankinn and as a law student at LEX. Furthermore, he was active in various committees at Orator the student’s body and as an assistant teacher in criminal law at the University of Iceland. He studied as an exchange student at the University of Salzburg in 2016.
Sigurður’s main tasks at LEX have been in the fields of corporate and commercial law, administrative law and property law. Furthermore, he has undertaken various projects in the fields of tort law, construction law, public procurement law and bankruptcy law.
