Profile
Stephen Egan is a senior associate in A&L Goodbody's Tax Department. He advises on all aspects of Irish taxation law.
Stephen has worked in A&L Goodbody since 2013 and has extensive experience advising on the tax aspects of public and private M&A transactions, the acquisition of renewable energy companies, redomiciliations to Ireland, IPOs and share offerings, international tax changes, restructuring work for multinationals (in particular, with respect to clients in the pharmaceutical and technology industries), IP tax structuring, tax planning for FDI start-ups in Ireland and the taxation of Irish investment undertakings and property holding structures.
Stephen also has experience advising on the taxation of oil, gas and mining companies, tax controversy advice, transfer-pricing issues, aircraft financing transactions and holding structures and securitisations
