Trine Lise Fromreide has broad experience from public procurement, labour law and negotiations.

Trine Lise works as a lawyer both in the public and private sector for clients with framework agreements and/or project work. Based on her work on larger clients she has accomplished a considerably expertise in project management in legal work for lawyers with special expertise within various disciplines, to larger parties.

She works closely with the management and executive governing bodies and in some cases, it is necessary to work towards the various political processes you will find in public sector. Trine Lise’s special fields are contract law, compliance, labour legislation and public procurement law, hereunder negotiations. She also has broad litigation experience in her fields.

Trine Lise is often used as a lecturer within her special fields, she has written a number of publications and is one of the organizers in charge of «The Public Procurement Day in Bergen».

New Decision from the Court of Appeal Regarding the Possibility to Deprive Employees of their Duties within the Period of Notice

In LG-2018-161055 the Court of appeal, in a case regarding preliminary action, gave an elaborated assessment regarding under what conditions an employer can deprive an employee of his or her duties in the notice period.   Introduction An employer only exceptionally has the right to deprive a dismissed employee of his or her duties within the period of notice. For this to be possible, there must be "particularly compelling reasons"...
