He has represented several corporate entities, EC and non-EC Governments and professional associations in competition and trade proceedings before the European Commission as well as in proceedings before the European Courts in Luxembourg and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

Since 1994, Vassilis is a regular speaker on EC law and WTO law and practice. He was a speaker in several international conferences and seminars in Belgium, Greece, India, Thailand, Russia and Latvia.

Professional Activities and Experience

After obtaining invaluable practical experience in the area of State aids as a Stagiaire of DG IV (now DG COMP) of the European Commission in 1991, Vassilis has practiced extensively with a major English law firm in Brussels before joining our firm in November 2003 in the area of EC law and, specifically, in EC and national Competition Law, State aids, Public Procurement and WTO advice and practice in the area of trade defence (anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguards).
