Anzhelika Livitska Contributed to EBA White Paper "Deregulation of Environmental Legislation in a Time of War and Reforms Aimed for European Integration"

Asters' Counsel and pro bono legal advisor of the Committee on Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development of the European Business Association (EBA) Anzhelika Livitska contributed to EBA White Paper "Deregulation of environmental legislation in a time of war and reforms aimed for European integration".

Having extensive experience in advising clients on ecological law issues as well as understanding the needs and challenges the business faces, Anzhelika took an active part in developing and improving ecological legislation. Within the framework of the Committee's work, she drafted a number of legal opinions on relevant bills and regulations related to business deregulation, introducing a model of sustainable consumption of natural resources and products, collecting and using proceeds from the CO2 emission tax etc.

Based on the work results, the Committee published White Paper "Deregulation of environmental legislation in a time of war and reforms aimed for European integration". It outlines the business community’s vision of addressing key environmental issues in the context of deregulation during martial law and implementation of European legislation for the period of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and continuing the path to EU membership.
