Client Experience and Innovation at Heart of Soaring Directories Results, says Shoosmiths’ CEO

UK law firm Shoosmiths is proud to have received excellent results in both the Legal 500 and Chambers UK legal directories this year.

The firm achieved a tremendous result in the Legal 500 with 115 practice areas ranked, and 31 ‘Top Tier’ rankings, with 25 practice areas moving up a tier. Also 17 practice areas were newly ranked for the first time in the 2021 UK Guide, which launched in late September 2020. 55 of Shoosmiths partners were selected as Leading Individuals and 21 partners ranked as Next Generation.

Shoosmiths’ London saw new rankings in nine new practice areas, bringing Shoosmiths City office rankings to 19 separate table entries and Shoosmiths’ strength in corporate shined when the firm saw six positive ranking changes across 22 firmwide practice areas.

Chambers UK 2021, launched in October, recommends Shoosmiths across 65 practice areas, 18 as top ranked band one practice areas. Seven practice areas are now recognised as UK-Wide specialists including Private Equity Venture Capital Investments, Health & Safety and a new ranking for Education (Individuals).

In addition, Shoosmiths continues to be recognised as a National Leader in 10 practice areas across the UK, including Band 1 national leader rankings for Shoosmiths Real Estate, Information Technology and Employment teams.
