Shoosmiths advises on workplace inclusion investment in Talking Talent

October, 2021 - Milton Keynes, England

Leading UK law firm Shoosmiths has acted for the shareholders of Talking Talent Holdings Limited (Talking Talent) on an investment from specialist sustainable and impact investor Bridges Fund Management (Bridges).

The Shoosmiths team was led by corporate partners Kiran Dhesi and Sanjeev Sharma, alongside associates Lawrence Renny and Molly Cullen. Talking Talent is an industry leading organisation that delivers diversity and inclusion coaching and leadership consultation; its aim to accelerate advancement for under-represented talent.

The investment will allow the business to accelerate growth by broadening and deepening its consultancy capabilities and expanding upon its existing digital platforms - with aligned new partner Bridges sharing values including the development of more sustainable and inclusive employment cultures.

Since its launch in 2005, Talking Talent has represented global clients including PWC, Boeing, Siemens and Unilever.

Chris Parke, co-founder and CEO of Talking Talent, said: “Shoosmiths played a pivotal role in this successful next step for Talking Talent. Their specialist and dedicated support has built up this new partnership for an exciting future, and we couldn’t be more grateful to their expert teams.”

Partner, Kiran Dhesi, said: “This case demonstrates the vital growth of programmes to ensure diverse talent and career progression for under-represented employees, and Shoosmiths is proud to have played a part in this. It was a pleasure to work alongside Chris and the Talking Talent team, and we look forward to their continued success within this exciting new chapter.”
