Shoosmiths continues bumper 2021 mergers and acquisitions corporate team record

Leading UK law firm Shoosmiths has advised global software company Everbridge, Inc. on a significant acquisition of advanced business resilience solutions business, Anvil Group.

Everbridge is a Nasdaq listed global software company, providing international clients with best-in-class software applications that automate and accelerate operational response to critical events, its aim to keep businesses running faster and safer.

The acquisition will expand Everbridge’s technology solutions, with Anvil offering industry-leading travel risk management, operational resiliency and occupational health technology solutions through its award winning Riskmatics® platform. Today, Everbridge supports more than 6,000 enterprise customers with Critical Event Management (CEM) software applications that automate and accelerate organisations’ operational response to critical events.

The transaction cements Shoosmiths’ reputation for supporting high-end technology clients with their mergers and acquisitions requirements on an international scale. These have included the sale of travel fintech innovator Ixaris to Nium and acting for Five Arrows Principal Investments on the creation of a new Milton Keynes-based global technology finance company.
