Carey Olsen advises RBS International on Triton's €1.455bn ESG-linked financing facility

December, 2021 - Bermuda, Bermuda

RBS International acted as lead arranger, facility agent and sustainability coordinator committing £322.5m to the facility alongside four other lenders. The facility structure is intended to be replicated across future Triton funds, providing a common set of strategic targets that will catalyse the delivery of Triton's overall sustainability goals and objectives.

The Carey Olsen team advising RBS International on the legal and regulatory aspects of the financing was led by partner Robin Smith, with assistance from counsel Rose Clements and associate Richard Macfarlane.

Robin said: "We were particularly excited to advise on this ESG-linked fund finance facility and we would like to congratulate both RBS International and Triton on their commitment to ensuring responsible and sustainable investment. At Carey Olsen, we are committed to both assisting our clients in working towards a sustainable business model as well as transitioning our own business."
