Hanson Bridgett Partner Named to INTA Board of Directors

Cook, Partner, has been elected to The International Trademark Association (INTA) Board of Directors effective January 1, 2022. INTA is the largest international trademark-related organization in the world.

On November 15, 2021, the voting members elected the new Directors at INTA’s 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+. Mr. Cook joins nine others appointed to serve through December 31, 2024.

Mr. Cook co-chairs Hanson Bridgett's Intellectual Property practice group. He concentrates on trademark and copyright enforcement, litigation, counseling, prosecution and licensing, and specializes in the protection and enforcement of trademarks, copyrights and designs as well as portfolio management, online brand protection and brand strategy. He is also well-versed in trade secret, unfair competition and other business litigation. Mr. Cook works with clients in a variety of fields, including product and furniture design, character merchandising, software/Internet, and the outdoor and retail industries.

Mr. Cook is a sought after speaker on copyright and trademark law, and has spoken on product design protection, trademarks on the Internet and damages in trademark and copyright cases, among many other topics. He is the current chair of INTA's Copyright Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Copyright Society of the USA.
