Aron Beezley Quoted in Law360 on Top 6 Cases in Government Contracts

Bradley partner Aron Beezley was quoted in Law360 on the top six government contract cases during the second half of 2021.
A Court of Federal Claims ruling in July showed that length can make a sole-source contract unreasonable.
Beezley said that prior to the decision, many contractors may not have realized that they could challenge the duration of a sole-source contract as unreasonable.
Also, for agencies themselves, “it makes clear…that besides justifying why they need to depart from competition requirements, going forwards, an agency will have to mindful that it needs to explain for how long it will need the sole-source award,” Beezley explained.
