Han Kun welcomes Mr. Shiwen (Stephen) Dong as a partner

Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that Mr. Shiwen (Stephen) Dong has joined the firm as a partner. Mr. Dong works primarily in the firm's Shanghai office.

Mr. Dong has extensive practical experience in a number of practice areas, including real estate-related acquisitions, real estate project finance, mergers and acquisitions, offshore securities offerings, etc. Mr. Dong advises major international and domestic real estate funds, investment banks, real estate enterprises, warehousing and logistics enterprises, multinational enterprises, listed companies and insurance companies on their various equity acquisitions, asset acquisitions, real estate developments, real estate project financings, leasing operations and property management in China, including deal structuring, legal due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and business negotiations. Mr. Dong has accumulated rich experience in practicing PRC law and in handling complicated cross-border and onshore transactions.

Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Dong worked for many years with another well-known domestic law firm. Before that, Mr. Dong worked in Singapore.

We believe that Han Kun will further strengthen its corporate practice with the appointment of Mr. Dong to the firm.
