Ms. Wei He specializes in contentious and non-contentious intellectual property issues, including strategic protection of IP portfolios, applications for IP registration, prosecution, administrative and civil enforcement of IP rights, IP licensing and technology transfers, border protection of IP rights, brand protection and anti-counterfeiting, unfair competition, domain name disputes, etc. She also handles due diligence related to the acquisition of intellectual property assets and negotiates agreements involving the intellectual property transfers, licenses, joint development, confidentiality, consulting, franchising, etc. Ms. He also has solid experience in corporate, commercial and contract, foreign direct investment disputes resolutions. Ms. He was trained by a top-rated global IP department and has advised many leading international companies on the registration, management and enforcement of their intellectual property in China.

Mr. Peng Lei's practice focuses on intellectual property and antitrust-related dispute resolution. Mr. Lei started his career in the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) as a patent examiner, and then worked in a well-known domestic law firm for many years. Mr. Lei has provided legal services to multinational and domestic companies in the mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, semiconductor, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, to solve their intellectual property-related disputes involving patent infringement, patent invalidation, trade secrets misappropriation, trademark infringement and unfair competition, etc. Mr. Lei also has ample experience in solving both antitrust disputes regarding standard-essential patents and traditional antitrust disputes.

Ms. Ruijie (Rae) Liu specializes in venture capital, IPOs (reorganizations) on foreign exchanges, mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investments and general corporate. Ms. Liu is knowledgeable of PRC industry policies, deal structure design and project management. She has represented a wide range of clients, including well-known funds, multi-national enterprises as well as many start-up companies. She has assisted clients with their foreign direct investments, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and IPOs on foreign exchanges. Her legal services cover a wide range of industries, including value-added telecommunications, film, education, Internet finance, pharmaceuticals, etc.

Ms. Ruina Liu specializes in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, PPP transactions and foreign direct investment, and she is knowledgeable of industry policies, transaction structures, and investment and project management. Ms. Liu has represented a large number of multinational enterprises, well-known companies, and start-ups in different industries such as telecommunications, Internet, e-commerce, information technology, exhibition, media and entertainment, education, advertising, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Ms. Liu has also represented a number of well-known domestic and overseas companies as their long-term outside legal counsel, and has accumulated substantial experience in corporate matters.

Mr. Rui Luo's practice focuses on IP litigation and other related dispute resolution matters in China. He has extensive experience in litigating complex patent and high-tech trade secret disputes on behalf of multinational clients. Mr. Luo has represented many renowned multinational and domestic companies from a variety of industries. Through years of practice, Mr. Luo's litigation experience has covered all types of IP-related disputes, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, unfair competition, and antitrust disputes. Mr. Luo also has ample experience with patent invalidation proceedings before the Patent Reexamination Board of the State Intellectual Property Office.

Ms. Li Zhang specializes in the private equity and venture capital investment, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, restructurings, public listings and offerings, foreign direct investment and general corporate, etc., and has more than eight years of practice experience in those areas. She provides legal services to many private equity investors, venture capital and start-up companies, and specializes in designing transaction structures, dealing with and providing solutions for a variety of legal issues. Ms. Zhang practices in a number of industries, including manufacturing, new-energy vehicles, technology innovation, environmental protection, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, cross-border commerce, mobile Internet, education, travel and hotels.

Peng Lei, Ruijie (Rae) Liu, Ruina Liu and Rui Luo are based in the firm's Beijing office, Li Zhang is based in the firm's Shanghai office, and Wei He is based in the firm's Shenzhen office.
