Bradley Adds Heather H. Sveadas to Healthcare Team in Tennessee

Bradley is pleased to announce that Heather H. Sveadas has joined the firm as counsel in the Healthcare Practice Group.

Jacques. “Her deep experience in the healthcare industry will be an asset to the firm and will continue to strengthen the expertise we provide to clients on a wide range of complex healthcare matters.”

Ms. Sveadas has extensive experience advising healthcare providers, including hospitals, home health providers, federally qualified health centers, rural health clinics and physicians in regulatory matters and in litigation of healthcare-related issues. Her practice includes assisting clients with Medicaid and Medicare regulatory issues, managed care contracting, vendor contracting, EMTALA and ADA issues and other legal issues that arise from the daily operation of healthcare facilities. She routinely advises clients on both federal and state Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Acts and the Healthcare Decisions Act.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sveadas served as counsel for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, where she focused on managed care contracting for commercial, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage lines of business. She also served as Director of Risk Management and Associate General Counsel for a multi-hospital health system that includes a Level 1 Trauma Center, academic medical center and children’s hospital.

Ms. Sveadas is a graduate of the Emory University School of Law and also earned her B.A. from Emory University. She is a member of the American Health Law Association and the Health Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association.
