Lisa Brown Named A “Leader in the Law” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly

Dykema, a leading national law firm, is proud to announce that Lisa Brown was selected by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as a “Leader in the Law.” Brown will be recognized at an awards luncheon on December 2, 2022. Michigan Lawyers Weekly also will publish a special feature on December 5, 2022.
According to the publication, the recipients of this award have made outstanding contributions to the practice of law in Michigan and set an example for other lawyers. They have shown tremendous leadership and offer a wealth of expertise in diverse areas of the law.
Brown represents some of the largest companies in the world in bet-the-company litigation and on supply chain issues. For more than 23 years, she has represented global automotive companies in complex litigation, contract disputes, and supply chain issues. Brown’s commercial litigation experience also extends across industries, including tech, manufacturing, healthcare, and more.
In addition, Brown’s leadership positions in the firm highlight her commitment to diversity and developing legal talent. For the last decade, Brown has served as Dykema’s Hiring Partner and has been the face of Dykema before law schools, students, and lateral candidates. She is in charge of associate recruiting for all of Dykema’s 14 offices and brings fresh talent to the firm, helping shape the practice and service groups. She is the chair of the firm’s Recruiting Committee and works with a sizable team of recruiting staff at the firm whom she helps manage to assist in these efforts.
Brown earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
