Privatisation of Wheelock Properties Limited by Wheelock and Company Limited by way of a scheme of arrangement

Deacons advised WPL in relation to its privatisation by Wheelock by way of a scheme of arrangement and the proposed withdrawal of listing of WPL from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, constituting a discloseable transaction for Wheelock. The aggregate amount of cash payable by Wheelock for the cancellation of the scheme shares is approximately USD885million.
