Shepherd and Wedderburn raises over £7,000 for the Scottish Community Foundation

June, 2011 - Edinburgh, Scotland

Two Shepherd and Wedderburn teams have so far raised over £7,000 for the Scottish Community Foundation by taking part in the RBS Caledonian Challenge. The event, in which participants take on a gruelling 54-mile walk through some of Scotland's most remote and rugged terrain, took place on Saturday 11 June.

Months of planning, training and fundraising finally paid off as the teams, consisting of nine lawyers, finished the Challenge on Sunday morning at Auchtertyre, having walked the famous Great Glen Way and West Highland Way.

The two teams raised more than £7,000 for the Scottish Community Foundation, which works with people and organisations to help them give to good causes effectively and inexpensively.

Well done to all team members, whose feet are slowly beginning to recover from the ordeal.
