Morgan & Morgan Receives Recognition from Latin Lawyer and The Vance Center

March, 2013 - Panama, Panama

It is with great pride that we share the recognition given to us by the British publication Latin Lawyer and the Cyrus Vance Center of New York as "Leading Lights" in the Latin American region, thanks to our Pro Bono program. The selection was made among the largest firms in Latin America based on the institutionalized criteria of the Probono practice, taking into account the standards, effort and above average participation of our lawyers.

Morgan & Morgan is the only Panamanian firm distinguished on this list and we share this honor with prestigious and high caliber Law firms in Latin America and worldwide. Morgan & Morgan is the first and so far, only Panamanian firm to subscribe to the Pro Bono Declaration of the Americas, an initiative promoted by "The Cyrus Vance Center for International Justice". Since our Pro Bono program was institutionalized in 2011, we have completed more than 700 pro bono hours with the active participation of 40 lawyers from MMG who have donated not only their knowledge but also their free time during the "Free Legal Guidance Days". In 2013 we have increased the number of these community events to twice per month, to expand our reach and accomplish our commitment to the Pro Bono Declaration of the Americas.

We thank all who in one way or another have contributed their time, knowledge and experience to make Morgan & Morgan a "Leading Lights". Through our Pro Bono Program, our iconic and ecological MMG Tower, and our numerous publications in international media, our group renews its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and position our brand as a reference market leader.
