Lia Alizia Talks about Franchising under Indonesian Law to US Franchise Companies

September, 2018 - Jakarta, Indonesia

Lia Alizia was invited as a resource speaker in the recently held U.S. Franchise Trade Mission to Indonesia on 21-22 September 2018. Ten experienced and well-known franchising firms from the U.S. were in attendance, including Papa John’s Pizza, Ballard Brands, LLC for PJ’s Coffee, Coldwell Banker, FOCUS Brands International for Cinnabon, and Edward Global Services for The Boiling Crab, among others.

As Indonesia continues to attract foreign investment, this briefing will further enable these companies to receive valuable firsthand information and market research from prospective investors and local commercial and legal experts. Entitled “Franchising under Indonesian Law and Its Practical Issues for Foreign Franchisors”, Lia shared about issues and trends in the franchise sector with respect to the Indonesian franchising law. She was joined by one of our senior associates, Reagan Roy Teguh.
