Hanson Bridgett Grows SF Office with Addition of Six Attorneys

November 7, 2016 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) – Hanson Bridgett is pleased to announce the addition of six new attorneys: Jerri Kay-Phillips, Laurel O’Connor, Ann Mary Olson, Kaylen Kadotani, Kyla Rowe, and Kaitlyn Gardner. With the new hires, the firm expands its Labor & Employment, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Health and Senior Care, Real Estate & Construction, and Corporate & Business practices.

Jerri Kay-Phillips joins Hanson Bridgett’s Labor & Employment practice. She previously worked at Hanson Bridgett as a summer associate in 2015. She maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on helping survivors of domestic violence, juvenile delinquency, and school expulsion proceedings. Prior to joining Hanson Bridgett, she held director-level positions in telecommunications and at a technology startup. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.

Laurel O’Connor joins the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Previously, she served as law clerk at the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California, and for Gap Inc. She graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she garnered multiple Witkin and CALI recognitions.

Ann Mary Olson focuses her practice on health care litigation, while also maintaining an active pro bono practice. She has contributed to work focused on prisoners’ civil rights claims and actual innocence cases. Ann Mary graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.

Kaylen Kadotani focuses his practice on litigation and dispute resolution. He has experience as lead associate on a number of cases, ranging from excessive force/civil rights to real estate transactions. He graduated magna cum laude from University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Kyla Rowe focuses her practice on real estate and construction. She previously worked at Hanson Bridgett as a summer associate in 2014. Additionally, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Thelton E. Henderson in United States District Court, for the Northern District of California. She graduated cum laude from University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Kaitlyn Gardner joins the firm’s Corporate & Business practice, with a focus on employee benefits and tax matters. She previously worked at Hanson Bridgett as a summer associate in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Kaitlyn served as law clerk at the National Senior Citizen Law Center. She graduated from Stanford Law School.
