Hanson Bridgett Ranks in Top 50 Best Firms for Minority Partners and Minority Attorneys
May 16, 2016 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) — Hanson Bridgett is honored to be recognized by Law360 as one of The 50 Best Firms for Minority Partners and Minority Attorneys, coming in at #24 and #33 respectively. Law360's 2016 Diversity Snapshot revealed that "less than 15 percent of attorneys at U.S. law firms surveyed by Law360 are minorities. Less than 9 percent of partners at U.S. law firms are minorities."
Law360 ranked firms by examining a variety of factors, including the percentage of partners, both equity and nonequity, who are minorities; the percentage of associate-level attorneys who are minorities; and the total number of minority attorneys at the firm.
This recent acknowledgement comes on the heels of the firm also having been named as a top law firm for female attorneys by Law360. Hanson Bridgett ranked #24 out of 100 and was also named as one of 25 “Ceiling Smashers.” This year’s Ceiling Smashers are the 25 U.S.-based law firms out of more than 300 surveyed that have the highest percentage of female partners, including equity and nonequity partners.
