Hanson Bridgett Adds Six Associates to San Francisco Office


February 17, 2016 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) — Hanson Bridgett is pleased to announce the hires of six new associates – Walter Binswanger, Jennifer Foldvary, Hannah Lou, Neepa Majmudar, Everett Monroe, and Nicole Witt. Some joined the firm in Fall 2015, and have officially been welcomed into the fold after passing the California Bar Exam and others joined in early 2016.

“We’ve enjoyed getting to know our new associates and look forward to them developing and growing with the firm,” said Managing Partner Andrew Giacomini.

Walter Binswanger focuses his practice on corporate law. While earning his J.D. at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, he received the Witkin Award for Contracts and Civil Procedure and Cali Award for Civil Procedure, Torts and Legal Writing and Research.

Jennifer Foldvary focuses her practice on a variety of labor and employment issues, and has conducted workplace investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. She also serves as Vice President of Grants and Foundations at Minds Matter of San Francisco, and is a founding member of the Jewish Bar Association of San Francisco.

Hannah Lou focuses her practice on health care and senior care law, an area she is uniquely suited for, after interning for the California Department of Health Care Services while a student at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Neepa Majmudar joins the firm’s Corporate practice, and brings experience negotiating mergers and acquisitions. She previously worked as a pro bono associate at the California Women’s Law Center, advocating for the civil rights of women, representing victims of college campus sexual harassment violations, and helping institutions navigate the Title IX process.

Everett Monroe focuses his practice on a variety of litigation matters, and will also work under the firm’s Privacy, Data Security and Information Governance practice. He served as senior editor of University of San Francisco's Maritime Law Journal and as survey editor for University of San Francisco's Intellectual Property Law Bulletin while earning his J.D.

Nicole Witt joins the firm’s Government, Public Agency, and Public Transit & Transportation practice groups, where she steers clients through matters including public contracts and procurements, governance laws, and Brown Act and Public Records Act compliance.
