Adil Khawaja has 20 years experience and in-depth knowledge in real estate, environmental and planning law, aviation, project finance, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity, commercial litigation and arbitration. He is one of the most renowned lawyers in Kenya with respect to real estate, project development, planning and environmental law. He has dealt with complicated land issues in Kenya and undertaken many complex company restructurings, realizations and schemes of arrangement for banks. He has advised on numerous mergers and acquisition transactions including one of the largest multi-million takeovers in Kenya. - Member Law society of Kenya - Organising Committee for 2007 Commonwealth Lawyers Conference in Nairobi

- Convenor of the Subcomittee on Security Protocol and Immigration.

- Appointed member of the National Environment Council 2005. This council is responsible for policy formulation and direction under the Environmental Management and Cordination Act of 1999. It also sets national goals and objectives and ditermines policies for protection of the environment.

- Appointed honorary Warden Kenya Wildlife Service 2004.
