Heuking advises shareholders of DigiComm Group on sale to AddSecure Group

A team led by Dr. Michael Sörgel, Partner at Heuking’s Düsseldorf office, legally advised the shareholders of DigiComm Group on the sale of DigiComm Group to Sweden’s AddSecure Group.

This transaction constitues a noteworthy achievement in the continued expansion of DigiComm Group, which will thus obtain access to the financial stability and resources of a larger, more expansive player. DigiComm Group will be able to embark on its next expansion stage and further expand its market position. AddSecure Group, on the other hand, will expand its presence in the German-speaking region and gain access to an extensive portfolio of critical infrastructure solutions and services. In addition, the Swedish company is expanding into the intelligent waste management application domain.

DigiComm Group has been a market leader for decades in the monitoring and secure management of decentralized systems and critical infrastructures. The company features particular expertise in telecontrol communication technology for utilities, water agencies, and distribution network operators. Presently, these solutions stand as critical foundations for forthcoming endeavors including the integration of Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) as well as the digital transformation of the energy transition. By maintaining memberships in the “450Alliance” and “Cyber Security” organizations, DigiComm Group ensures that it and its clients enjoy a substantial and current information advantage.

The acquisition of DigiComm Group by AddSecure is expected to be closed in the coming weeks.
