Jennifer Guerrero is a member of the Health Care practice group in Buchalter’s Los Angeles office. She has experience in all aspects of legal issues arising within the organization including business operations, commercial transactions, risk mitigation and management, data security and privacy, vendor contracting, regulatory and compliance issues, supply chain, non-profit, and public agency law.

Ms. Guerrero has ample experience advising clients on the legal impact of new or proposed local, state, federal or managed care legislation or changes in government agency requirements or processes and operational implementation of such issues. She often advises on managing legal issues related to managed care law, value-based contracting, state and federal government benefit programs including Medicare and Medicaid, strategic matters related to payor contracting, reimbursement and overpayments, medical staff review and oversight, pharmacy network issues, Knox-Keene license requirements and obligations, HIPAA, Brown Act, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, Medicare and other various other legal issues as they arise.
