WSG member firm, Hanson Bridgett LLP, hosted a 60-minute webinar on Getting Ahead of Privacy Issues - Technology, CCPA, and Employee Considerations for Reopening Our Workplaces.

Through their Business is Disrupted webinar series, Hanson Bridgett attorneys provided guidance necessary to stay in front of the quickly changing business environment as we collectively work to contain and minimize the effects of COVID-19 on our families, companies, employees, business associates, customers, suppliers, and lenders.

In their second webinar, Hanson Bridgett attorneys explained how COVID-19 intersects with cybersecurity and privacy issues impacting your business. They reviewed critical cybersecurity issues implicated by working remotely, video conferencing, and increased fraud activity. They provided an update on the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the status of the Attorney General regulations and anticipated legislative amendments. We discussed several workforce-related issues employers should be considering and planning for as businesses reopen.
