This interactive workshop focused on the importance of public relations for raising awareness about a law firm and its legal services and position lawyers to influence key audiences,
including current and prospective clients and talent, referring counsel, alumni of the firm, members of the media, and other decision-makers. In particular, participants learned about:
- Content sources and content characteristics most valued by C-Suite Executives and In-House Counsel
- Ways to maximize a lawyer’s relationship with the media
- The international language of journalists, including specific terms and related strategies
- The difference between evergreen and timely content and the ways to identify topics for each
WSG's expert industry facilitators led the workshop through a combination of lecture, audience participation, and real-time brainstorming and feedback.
