Profile
Amy Leopard is a partner in Bradley's Nashville office and co-chairs the Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Group. As a seasoned legal counselor with over 25 years of experience in health law, Amy navigates the intersection of healthcare and information technology law. She regularly advises technology companies and healthcare providers on artificial intelligence, electronic health records, information exchange, technology procurement and transfer, genomics, privacy, cybersecurity, and breach response.
As a member of the AHLA Board of Directors and former chair of its HIT Practice Group and the HIMSS Legal Task Force, Amy actively engages in industry developments and thought leadership at the forefront of healthcare technology. Her background serving as a hospital vice president in academic medical center and community settings, as well as interning in the U.S. Justice Department, brings operational and regulatory enforcement insights.
Amy completed certificate programs in Health Care AI at the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2023 and at Harvard Medical School in 2022.
Recognized as a Fellow in HIMSS and holding certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-US), Amy navigates the complex landscape of health information and technology. She has been recognized nationally by Chambers USA for Healthcare Privacy & Data Security and The Best Lawyers in America® for Health Care Law and Data Security Law. In 2017, she was honored as the "Healthcare Law Lawyer of the Year" for Nashville.
