Profile
Jason Brooks is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate, and Cannabis Practice Groups in the Nashville and Orange County offices. Mr. Brooks practice focuses on representing property owners and developers throughout the US. His client’s projects vary from ground up development and acquisition rehab to buy and hold and repositioning of assets. Their projects include 2 units to 400 units for sale and for rent multi family, spec homes ranging in price from $500k to $100m+, hotels up to 350 keys and an assortment of commercial properties from senior living and retail to industrial and office. Mr. Brooks assists his clients through the entire ownership experience from acquisition due diligence through property exit / stabilization. Having previously sat on the non-legal side of the table, Mr. Brooks has a unique understanding of what his clients are experiencing and works to get deals closed.
Formerly, Mr. Brooks worked for Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division, Makan Delrahim, creating business, legal and governmental strategies for Fortune 500 companies and major mergers and acquisitions transactions. Subsequently, Mr. Brooks served as Chief of Staff and Director of Operations for Lincoln Avenue Capital, a real estate private equity fund specializing in the development and ownership of affordable housing apartment complexes nationwide.
