Lynn is a Partner at the Bangalore office of Kochhar & Co. and heads the Intellectual Property Law Practice in Bangalore. She is also part of Technology Law and Commercial Law Practice of the Firm. Lynn practices intellectual property law (IP) and commercial law with strong emphasis in the specialist areas of trademarks, patents and copyright, design registrations and prosecution, IP agreements, licensing and monetization. She also regularly advises on commercial, telecom, IP regulatory and corporate risk management issues. She has broad experience in advising clients, ranging from MNC's and SME's, on various aspects of IP laws in India and globally for over a decade.

Lynn handles complex IP matters involving developing patent and trademark strategies for large multinational enterprises and the protection of their IP globally through the USPTO, WIPO and regional offices. She advises on the full range of a client's IP portfolio, including registrations and prosecutions, IP protection within companies through employment licenses, inventor assignment deeds, NDAs and copyright matters. Lynn has filed and prosecuted over 2000 trademark applications at the USPTO and IPO, drafted responses to confusing similarity and descriptive rejections/office actions with a 95% success rate in trademark prosecution. She has assisted SME's in building their brand, choosing the right trademark(s), providing prior art search reports and preliminary advice. She has negotiated deals involving complex IP infringement disputes in the area of software licensing.

Lynn has advised production/film making companies, photographers and artists with their copyright licenses and commercial/royalty agreements such as model releases, broadcast/location releases and has advised on video and film concerns.

Lynn has worked with musicians and bands to manage their commercial deals such as recording agreements, song writer agreements, publishing contracts, mechanical licenses. Lynn has also been responsible for structuring deals with partners regarding intellectual property co-existence agreements, assignments, franchises and licenses.

Lynn also represents multinational clients in the telecom industry by managing their commercial agreements and licenses, revenue share, distributer agreements, reseller agreements, employment and consultant agreements. In the mobile application industry, her expertise is backed by rich industry experience of having worked as in-house counsel for over two years with a leading MNC developing mobile applications.

In addition to above, Lynn is very active in the domain of anti-corruption and compliance training. She is certified in legal risk management for MNCs by the Boston University School of Law andregularly advises clients in FCPA compliance and strategies to combat legal risk for U.S subsidiary companies. Lynn actively conducts short training sessions on FCPA compliance internally for management and staff of Indian subsidiaries of American companies.

Lynn is a regular speaker at various seminars and conferences held within and outside India.
