Abigail is an Associate in the Real Estate team, based in the Manchester office.

She acts on a variety of commercial property matters, including acting for developers on city centre infrastructure as well as housebuilders on acquisition and development of sites across the north west. Her recent work includes assisting with due diligence for a £62 million refinance and acting on a leasehold buyback scheme of over 400 properties. Abigail also assists companies with their property portfolios and acts for a number of tenants of commercial lettings (including occupational and logistical).

She also works closely with the firm’s charity team to assist with property referrals for charitable companies and trusts.

Abigail qualified into the Real Estate team in September 2021, having completed her training contract with the firm. Prior to joining Shoosmiths, she graduated from the University of Liverpool with an LLB (Hons) and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Leeds.
