Profile

Adnaan has represented clients in a wide variety of litigation and arbitration matters including construction disputes, complex cross-border disputes, shareholder and employment disputes, fraud and conspiracy, restructuring and insolvency matters, and white-collar crimes and investigations. He appeared as lead counsel before the Singapore Court of Appeal for a Mexican attorney who was seeking to vary an injunction to restrain restructuring proceedings that were taking place in Mexico, and dealt with complex legal issues arising under Singapore law, Mexican law, and Norwegian law. Adnaan is experienced in civil and commercial trials before the Singapore Supreme Court, and has also acted as lead counsel in criminal trials.

He was elected onto the Council of the Singapore Law Society of Singapore in 2019 and is presently serving on the Executive Committee of Council. He is also a regular volunteer with the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme. Before entering practice, Adnaan represented his university in a number of international moot competitions, including the Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot. He continues to be involved as a moot coach in the Singapore Management University International Moots Programme.
